New CUPRA Tribe Editions
- CUPRA introduces a new exclusive range across the Formentor, Terramar, Leon, and Leon Sportstourer that blends rebellious character with sustainable innovation: the CUPRA Tribe Editions.
- The interior design concepts include 3D knitting technology to minimise waste and boost circular economy, alongside bio-based paints across elements such as the air vents and dashboard, and recycled materials incorporated into core features from the alloys to the bumpers
- The final finish on this lineup includes a range of colours exclusive to the Tribe Editions, including the new Manganese Matt exterior paint
Exterior Design
On the outside, these editions stand apart with striking new design details, including the debut of the new Manganese Matt paint finish, among others. The distinctive colour enhances the cars’ dynamic lines and sporty presence, while newly designed alloy wheels that incorporate 20% recycled materials reinforce the brand’s commitment to sustainable innovation.
The Tribe Editions are elevated by a striking colour palette: Century Bronze Matt (exclusive to Terramar), Magnetic Tech Matt (exclusive to Leon and Formentor), Midnight Black, and the new Manganese Matt (available for all Tribe Editions models). These sleek exteriors are paired with dark chrome CUPRA logos at the front and rear, along with rear lettering, enrich the look and add depth to the character of each vehicle.
New alloy wheel designs with a new Sulphur Green colour set the Tribe Editions apart: a distinct 20” option for the Terramar, a unique 19” design for the Formentor, another 19” for the Leon, each with 20% recycled materials. Consistent with the company’s circular material strategy, the new designs also utilise recycled materials within the Tribe Edition bumpers, with the spoiler front bumper containing 20% recycled plastic material, offering a more balanced approach to mobility.
Interior Design
Inside, the Tribe Editions showcase a fresh approach to individuality and eco-conscious design. The CUPRA Tribe Editions integrate 30% recycled materials in interior trim plastics. This sustainable design is championed through key interior elements such as the console trim and inner frame air diffusers, that are finished with a new Sulphur Green paint by Manckiewicz - formulated with 15% bio-based material.
The Tribe Editions push boundaries further with the introduction of additive manufacturing, with 3D knitted technology used in the bucket seat design. The fabrics in the central area of the front and rear seats are made with 100% recycled material and with a technique that uses a computer-controlled knitting machine to create material in its three-dimensional form eliminating the need for cutting and sewing, resulting in zero material waste. The combination of premium sustainable materials with cutting-edge design delivers a unique, modern, and driver-focused experience, both inside and outside the car.

Available across all powertrain options, the new Tribe Editions for the CUPRA Formentor, Leon, Leon Sportstourer, and Terramar begin production in the final quarter of the year:
