Octopus Energy and CUPRA

A winning combination

If you purchase a Born (58kWh 204PS), Formentor e-HYBRID, Leon e-HYBRID or Leon Estate e-HYBRID and switch to a dual fuel home energy supply from our partner Octopus Energy, you'll be eligible for a £90 saving on your energy bill. If you're already an Octopus Energy customer, you can save too^.

Sign up to Octopus Go, a 100% renewable smart tariff, you'll find it’s perfect for charging your new CUPRA at home. Offering 7.5p/kWh electricity between 0.30am-4:30am every night, you can charge your e-HYBRID or Electric car while you sleep and keep your fuel costs down to as little as 3p per mile*.

With global energy prices at record highs, Octopus energy has decided to pause online sales. However, the electric vehicle tariff can still offer great value if you can schedule your vehicle to charge overnight. If you'd like to request a switch to Octopus Go, please call 0808 169 3274 with your current energy prices to hand to discuss your options. Let the energy specialist you speak to know that you're a CUPRA customer and that you're entitled to free miles in the form of a £90 credit on your energy account.

^Customers who joined Octopus directly can still benefit from this great offer. However, if you joined via the Refer a Friend scheme or through one of their partners, and have already received a joining reward, unfortunately, you're not eligible for a free miles reward. If you're a gas and electricity customer, and haven't received a joining reward previously, you'll receive a £90 credit. If you're only with Octopus for one fuel type, you'll receive £45 credit. Send an email to existingevoffer@octoenergy.com to take advantage of the offer.

*Calculation based on charging your CUPRA Formentor e-HYBRID overnight during the low rate window. Exact amount will vary depending on the specific miles/kwh performance.
For the CUPRA Formentor 1.4 e-HYBRID DSG-auto 204PS, at Octopus’ Go tariff off-peak rate (7.5 p/kWh), £90 credit is equivalent to up to 3,000 miles when the vehicle is driven purely on electric power. This is based on a usable battery capacity of 12.8 kWh and an electric driving range of 32 miles giving an efficiency average of 0.40 kWh/mile. Efficiency differs depending on multiple variables, such as driving conditions and vehicle configuration. If the vehicle is not charged during the off-peak window £90 credit is equivalent to approximately 810 miles of pure electric driving based on the peak electricity price of 30.73p/kWh.
